# MoxiWorks

> Use your MoxiWorks Platform Identifier and Platform Secret to connect.

MoxiWorks API connections use a **Platform Identifier** and **Platform Secret** issued by MoxiWorks. These are different from a MoxiWorks username and password.

## Let's connect your account

  <Step title="Get the MoxiWorks Platform credentials">
    These values are not your MoxiWorks username and password, and you cannot create them in the normal MoxiWorks user interface.

    First, ask your brokerage administrator or the person at your organization who manages the MoxiWorks partnership whether the credentials have already been issued. If they have not, send the following request to your assigned MoxiWorks representative or [partners@moxiworks.com](mailto:partners@moxiworks.com):

    Hello,

    Please issue the production Platform Identifier and Platform Secret for
    [company or brokerage name] to connect MoxiWorks to [product name].

    Please send the Platform Secret through a secure channel.

  <Step title="Use the correct environment credentials">
    MoxiWorks may issue separate QA and production credentials. Use production Platform credentials for a production connection.

  <Step title="Enter the credentials and save">
    In the product you are connecting, choose **MoxiWorks**. Enter the issued values in **Platform Identifier** and **Platform Secret**, then select **Save**.

    When the form saves, your MoxiWorks connection is ready.

  Treat the Platform Secret like a password. Do not include it in email, chat, or screenshots.

## If the connection does not finish
