# Cloze

> Sign in to Cloze and authorize the secure connection.

Use this guide when the connection screen has a **Connect Account** button. If it asks for an API key instead, follow the [Cloze API Key guide](/docs/end-user-guides/crm/cloze-api-key).

Before you start, sign in to the Cloze account you want to connect in the same browser.

## Let's connect your account

  <Step title="Open the Cloze authorization page">
    In the product you are connecting, choose **Cloze**, then select **Connect Account**.

    A Cloze authorization page opens in a new browser tab. Keep the original product tab open.

  <Step title="Sign in to the correct Cloze account">
    On the **Rollout ⇄ Cloze** page, select **Sign In**.

    Sign in with Google or enter the email address for the Cloze account you want to connect.

  <Step title="Approve the connection">
    Review the access Rollout requests, then follow the Cloze prompt to approve it.

    <Warning>
      If the wrong Cloze account appears, do not approve the connection. Sign out of Cloze, sign in to the correct account, and start again.
    </Warning>

  <Step title="Return and confirm the connection">
    Return to the original product tab. Your Cloze account should appear, or the connection should show as connected.

    You do not need to copy an authorization code, API key, or password.

## If the connection does not finish

    Allow pop-ups for the product you are connecting, then select **Connect Account** again.

    Return to the original product tab and wait a few seconds. If it still does not update, close the Cloze authorization tab and start the connection again.
